I began drawing at the beginning of 2023, in the hope that it would make my origami better. I draw mostly humans in various poses, a lot of them on the skinnier side – not by taste, but because muscles and bones are easier to follow and thus to study and draw. This one is an exception and I enjoy that.
This model was folded in October, I am fairly certain it could not have happened without the many hours I put in with a pencil.
Funnily, some of the poses which are really interesting for the study of anatomy are a little unnatural – or even as good as impossible to hold. This is one of them, bless live models !
