Crimping with a vengeance

These models are folded with very thin Kraft paper. I begin with a classic origami design technique to define which part of the sheet will become a point (say for a finger) and then proceed to fold the base. Once that is done, everything is crimped very systematically. While one cannot really say where any given crimp will lie, the overall pattern they will form together is very well defined. This allows for a very textured look and flexible structures, very well suited to characters in motion, such as these.
