I picture her raising her head from a basin, ready to dry her hair.

This is a wink at the fact that much of what I present in these pages stems from an origami technique which has been coined “wet-folding”. This is arguably a misnomer as the paper should remain somewhere between dry and moist. But once the paper is dried it will harden into fluid shapes which evoke movement.
