Folded in 2023 from a rectangle of Arches watercolour paper
Model length: ca 25cm
This is the first model that I folded on the basis of a drawing of mine, hence its title (“découverte” is an ambiguous word in French, meaning both “uncovered” and “discovery”). I’ll be adding the sketch to this page soon.
This bas-relief technique allows to define the figure in fake perspective, something I stumbled upon as I was folding another, more abstract piece, “Sur le fleuve en amont, un coin de ciel brûlait”
