A follow-up to an earlier piece, I folded this one for a friend whose nickname is indeed something close to “The Squid”. As such, it is far more jovial than the previous one.
As to the “African” aspect, once more, this relates much more to what the piece’s aesthetics evokes for me than any actual understanding of any particular art from Africa.
